Trudy Wiegand has been working as an artist since 2005.

 

TRUDY WIEGAND (b. 1969) is an Australian-Norwegian artist who has established a solid presence on the Norwegian art scene. Her distinctive oil paintings capture the attention of art collectors and enthusiasts both in Norway and internationally.

 

Wiegand is educated at Nydalen Art School in Oslo and Waverley Woollahra Art School in Australia. Her artistry is characterized by a bold and expressive approach, where powerful brushstrokes, vibrant color palettes and intricate details interact to create works of depth and intensity. Through her work, she explores the tension between light and dark, soft and hard elements, creating dynamic compositions with a tactile quality.
